Perhaps he doesn't need a Murray type player, or, as it worked out, even a Murray. He might have a different set of tactics worked out for this division 
He seems to be looking at getting pace in, in abundance, as the ball tends to move faster in this league. I expect rapier fast penetration coming from both wings, serving our as mentioned 'play on the shoulder of the last defender' merchants. The 'knock it up to the CF' was so last season
