The stupids, being the highly trained engineers and architects who designed and manufactured concentration camps? the highly trained doctors and nurses who performed experiments on Jewish children and the disabled, the stupids who systematically planned, designed and carried out the holocaust?
facism is something that may appeal to the Stupids initially but if allowed to take root becomes very acceptable to people as it plays on people's fears. There are acedemics about now who claim that the holocaust didn't happen and also, "normal people" who handed over Jewish people for money in places like Poland, Hungary, etc etc
