We now have 24 teams, so the competition is closed to entrants.

As it the Europa Competition, to keep to the spirit of the original, the rules will be slightly different.

There will be 4 groups of 6.
Each team will play the others in the group twice (Home and Away)
3 points for win, one point for draw.
Failure to record a score counts as a 7.
Positions in table will be based upon 1) Total Points 2) Goal Difference 3) Goals Scored 4) Results between Teams tied
Top two teams go through from each group (May need a play-off to decide qualifiers)
Quarter Final and Semi Finals over two legs (aggregate score)
Final (in Virtual Dublin - have your Guinness ready) - one game - replay as necessary.
Haven't yet decided whether to bring back away goals for knockout rounds?

Draw tomorrow.
Games will be played on consecutive days (not just Thursday nights!)
