Stewart Lee - no one near at the moment, he is at the top of his game.

I see a bit of comedy now and then and there is always one who is miles ahead of any competitor, usually doing something that no-one else is doing or has done before.

Eddie Izzard in the past, then overtaken by Bill Bailey for me.

Stewart Lee is the current master. I rate him above the other two.

Stewart Lee for me too. He's almost the antithesis of a stand-up comedian because he doesn't appear to be doing anything particularly comical and yet he makes you laugh, think about it and then laugh a lot more. Love the guy!

Lee Nelson is incredibly annoying for me, Lee Evans is kind of past it in my opinion - saw him live last year and it wasnt as funny as previous tours.

Also if you don't know him, check out Brendon Burns, another aussie comic who is bigger over here than he is there. Similar sort of thing to Jim but not quite as offensive.
