Could be the "gem" signing we're looking for? Doubtful I know, but we're a club with massive ambition, and even a few weeks ago we would have said our new signings were fanciful at best. I get the feeling that anything at this moment could be possible.

This suggestion is frankly embarrassing. I think people need to get a grip on reality. There may be a 'spectacular' signing coming but it will NOT be a current England international or someone at the peak of a Premiership or overseas career. It will either be someone on the way down down from the peak or a promising youngster, that is if the 'spectacular' individual turns up at all. Some suggestions have been cringeworthy to say the least.
