Worst game I ever saw was Newcastle at home. We got beat 3-0 I think and MIcky Quinn scored a hatrick. Also Sheff Weds at home, I think we had won our first 5 home games of the season then thet came down here and tonked us 4-0.

A midweek game, when case was manager, the goldstone was falling apart, we lost about 3-0. cant's even remeber who it was against. case out case out and then everyone went round the west stand and smashed things up. i really thought our beloved club was falling apart at that point!

That was against darlo we lost 3-2 they were 23rd and we were 24th it meant we were 8 points behind.And yes it really kicked off that night

1. Fratton Park in the mid 80's. We were one nil up at half time, before Joe Corrigan and Willie Young conspired to gift them FIVE goals in the second half. And it rained, and only the away fans had no roof.

I'm with HKFC & El Presidente here. Just glad I'm not the only one permanently mentally scarred by our 2nd half display, the rain and the Hampshire Police. Bastards.

I'll add the 4-0 (4-1?) loss at home (sic) to Darlo in Gillingham. I didn't go , living 300 miles away; but was so upset the next day I nearly started a fight with a perfect stranger over a parking space and had to be dragged away by an alarmed wife. Only time I have ever questioned my life long support for the Albion. Both that and the violence very out of character, honest!
