Mayo should not be playing LB. I would like to see Rents get a chance while I think Hart does a decent job at RB. No sure why it is a waste putting Lynch at LB, I thought he looked great there last year,

We need proper full backs as they can actually make a difference, sticking whatever player we had left in those positions cost us last season.

Lynch is a centre back and given a chance there will be a very good one, being left footed would give us some decent balance alongside Hinsh / El-Abd / Elphick.

Mayo will do enough at left back, he certainly should not be in central midfield.

Hart doing a decent job at right back, well he went flying in a few times, got sent off and we lost a few games.

Think we are just gonna have to agree to disagree on this on.

That is all very correct, apart from the bit about Mayo. I don't want to be overly critical of the bloke, in fact I feel a bit sorry for him over this testimonial farce, but he is not good enough to command a position anywhere in the team. He is simply too slow and error-prone. We need to sign a left back and move Lynch into the middle. I think we can get away with Reid/Hart/El Abd at right back a bit easier, as at least the first two make a decent attempt to get forward.

In the past when Mayo has had a run in the side he has done well enough. Other than that Rents looks a good prospect.

Chris Breach could end up being the answer at right back.

How has Breach looked in pres-eason?

Also does anybody know what is going on with P.Hinsh? I think he would do a very good job at RB.
