Flippin 'ell, that's a turn-up for the wotsisname. Hope he lives up to his rather groovy name (although the Spanish translation for Calderón is Cauldron, which isn't especially groovy tbh). I wonder if he's any relation to Tego Calderón, the Puerto Rican rapper? Check dis dude wiv da 'tude:-

sounds absolutely FLAIR, means the end definitely for Hoyte but it would be a shame for Whingy, player of the season last year, played well at Saints, but hasn't had much of a chance since then!

Why are we signing some bloke from Spain who hasn't played since last summer, and has never played in the English league. Is poyet signing him on the merit that he knows him? Dissapointing. Oh well, guess we have to have some faith and at least that should be Hoyte gone.

I was underwhelmed when I saw this but if Swansea and Charlton were interested he should be decent.
I feel for Whing though having gone from player of the season to now struggling to make the bench.
