It would be just us though if we bought a left footed speedster and played him on the right

Remind you of anyone?

Albert was much improved at the start of the season but the injury came at a bad time because Frutos has established himself. Match fitness for Albert and then back to help us out hopefully! I still think he could be a good player for us.

if only he could sort his final ball out would be a fantastic prospect be suprised if it turns out to be any more than a loan though unless we are trying to free up wages ?

The big issue with him is his final ball, sorts that out and he will be an asset.

What is worrying is his final delivery has not improved during his 18 months with the club.

How difficult is it to learn:

1. Beat opposing player

2. Look up

3. See one of our team players making a run

4. Kick ball toward person so that he a chance of heading it or kicking it in the goal.

5. Repeat until you get good at it.

No?

No?

If it was that easy we would all be playing professional football.

Leslie (Mr Biehn)

The point I was making that he has ( I assume) a natural ability to kick and control a football but not the presence of mind to hone the skill.

What's the point of a loan deal?

Off the wage bill for a month.
Gets first team football,
Improves his experience,
Improves his fitness,
Comes back sharper,
May find the club who loan him are really impressed and come back offering money for a permanent deal.

Want any more reasons?

That's a bit harsh? - how about his run that saved the Wednesday game. Also got an assist for Knight earlier in the season?

He's surely come on a bit from the time in April he couldn't get in the Stevenage team!

He may not be developing quickly enough for our current needs, that's true, and with Carole/Frutos are playing so well, and with Reid bolstering the flanks to create a more solid midfield, he ain't going to get a chance soon.

But if he works hard, he might still have a future with us. The onus is on him.

It's certainly a better loan move for him at any rate than Stevenage.
