He was joking! It's an old NSC thing! The irony is that Pardew and Tanno in particular have a fantastic relationship after the manner in which Tanno ended up tearing up his contract at West Ham after his injury, yet large parts of NSC has the idea in it's head that Pardew "has it in for us".
