6000 - last time ?

Just wondering when the last time we took more than 6 thousand to an away game. ( other than the play offs of course)
Of course we could have done with games like Spurs and WHU had we received bigger allocations but I cannot remember when we took as many as we are taking this time.

3000 that year. Previous time was 4500-5000 as we had the whole stand.

Also remember 3500 at Peterborough and 4000-4500 at Port Vale and the end of 2nd Division title winning season.

This is evidence of the 'hidden' support that this club still has - and that we haven't really seen since the play-off final at Cardiff. I would guess that 50% of those going to Villa are not Withdean regulars - but we'll see them and a lot more besides when Falmer opens. £10 a ticket helps a lot and the club would do well to remember this when they work out the pricing for Falmer
