I actually read a few pages of the book as all the ladies are reading it at work. Christian says at one point 'Suck me baby' during a supposed passionate scene. If a bloke REALLY said that what sort of reaction do you think he would get?

My other half is reading it and says it's 'trash lit.' You can't argue with its sales - if you look at the latest UK fiction chart top ten it's sold in excess of 100k books, while everything else is struggling along with between 3-6k sales.

Blokes are 'visual' and we make do with youporn or redtube, women on the other hand need their hand shandy material in the written form, hence the phenomenal sales of Shades of Grey and Nancy Friday's The Secret Garden.

I'd much rather read this stuff than look at pictures!!! My imagination ran away with me reading these books I have to admit - like most of the women I know who have enjoyed them - think everyone should have a Christian grey in their life!!!
