football ban

I find it amazing that somebody who has not been convicted can be treated in this way ,football hooligans are delt with more harshly than some convicted pedos im not condoaning the guy for one minute but the club needs to look at some of the dodgy types that frequent the boardroom and hospitality many with dubious pastsand convictions far more serious than this guy.

If he is guilty then charge him! Very simple concept!

If you were suspected of a crime wouldn't you want a trial before being sentenced?

He appeared in court.
The evidence was presented.
He contested none of it.

I think they call that BANG to rights.

Is that not a conviction then?

If I am wrong then I will apologise. I have only seen that he has been cautioned in court, not found guilty of any crime.

Please let me know if different.

That's the way I interpreted the case too, tbh.

That, my friend, is SPOT ON.
One of my relatives gone done for the Leeds thing 5 years ago, and the way they treated him was just  - and that was his exact words.

Something's not quite right.

I don't follow you I'm sorry. He's been found guilty of violent conduct in Eastbourne Magistrates Court, and, whilst he wasn't convicted of any of the previous misdemeanours, they certainly contributed to this conviction. I'm sure the police showed as much footage which on sum total meant this guy is a danger, and needs to be stopped. Similar to an ASBO really isn't it...

Havent seen this in paper but sounds interesting and havent heard of anyone getting a banning order before for cocking around and not actually committing any offence. what did he do?..play up and give some arm signals in one of our escorts over a period of however many years? bit of a joke to ban him for 5 years i reckon.

Stop being a plum. He's obviously done something hasn't he otheriwse he wouldn't be on anyones radar. He Didn't contest any accusation so it didn't go further. He obviously took his offered punishment on the chin and took his ban.
Okay maybe his face being plastered everywhere is a bit harsh but if you act like a knob in a public place you get coverage. No use comparing, saying a murderer gets more privacy, this knob doesn't get his privacy, so what?

Saw this on the Brighton & Hove News site (so hopefully not fixtures). Pwoppa nawty..

A Brighton and Hove Albion fan was today banned from going to any of his beloved team’s matches after being found guilty of violent behaviour.

Joshua Moore, 21, of Chichester Drive East, Saltdean, was served a five year football banning order today at Eastbourne Magistrates court.

Moore was observed by Sussex Police football spotters over a period of four years and on 13 occasions was found to contribute to violence and / or disorder at home and away matches. Moore did not contest the evidence.

Chief Inspector Simon Nelson, Brighton & Hove Police said:

“Football should always be a game that is easily accessible to genuine supporters, and Brighton and Hove Albion work closely with us to ensure that the matches are safe sporting events.

“We owe it to the lawful majority, to identify the trouble-makers who falsely claim to be supporters but who have the sole intention of committing and inciting violence.

“We will do all that we can to identify those key individuals and make sure that they do not have the opportunity to enjoy the matches at the new community stadium at Falmer, once it has been completed.”

Top site that Brighton and Hove news.

I hear the Albion reporter is a top top bloke. Good looking as well:lolol:

Source? He has not received a criminal conviction

Source ? Err...the article pretty much covers it, no ?

Perhaps this'll send out a message. Don't keep on being a dickhead, or you might well suffer some considerable inconvenience.

I'm amazed anyone could be so tolerent of this knobcheese. People like him are an embarrassment to the club and his "fellow fans". I'm quite chuffed the authorities are finally cracking down on these cretins, its not before time, and I hope they don't stop with this twat.

Its amazing that the police have allowed him four years before taking any action, in that time any of us could have been assaulted by this hooligan,Withdean will be a safer place without him.

I have seen a picture of him, and he looks like a trouble maker. I would not want him at any ground I go to.
