I couldn't get a ticket for the game , managed to swap my shift and watched the game at home on telly. Really pissed off to see so many Manure fans had "acquired" tickets from other sources. To so very nearly win the cup with the last kick of the game was agonising , knowing that in a replay it would all be uphill.

The real story as I remember it:

Dad and I had been along to the games to collect the vouchers for the Cup games, but we couldn't go owing to a previously-booked family holiday in Rhodes.

Ever the nice guy, my Dad offered the Semi-Final tickets to your father to give you both the chance to go to Highbury.

And the rest is history!

Crikey, I don't remember that. Your old man made me a very happy little boy that day, then Clive. Thanks mate, was one of the best days of my life.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the first game on DVD? Tere appear to be plenty of the replay but not of the first game. Can anyone help?
