im not sure whether two swallows can make a summer, but arsenal 94-95 was addiction-tastic with both tony adams and paul merson playing vital roles

throw in george graham being sacked for financial irregularities as well, and it was pretty damn flair at highbury

The Southampton team of 1980-85. Consider the evidence:

Kevin Keegan, Peter Shilton, Alan Ball, Steve Moran, Mick Channon, Frank Worthington, Danny Wallace.

One of the best ever team goals:

One of the greatest disallowed goals

[yt]<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/S9SXa55s2OM&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/S9SXa55s2OM&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>[/yt]

And a flair-tastic kit design that they wore for FIVE seasons...

bradford city 00-01 - not only was it the team that effectively BANKRUPTED them with a quite honestly LUDICROUS attempt to stay in the premiership, but it featured these flair heros:

stan the man
benito carbone
dean windass
ashley ward
dean saunders
lee sharpe
jamie "black man, red hair" lawrence
neville "emergency signing" southall
gunnar halle

This HAS to be seconded, as does Brazil 82.

Tottenham in 95 - the famous 5 backed up with a flair defence which included walker, Dean Austin and Justin Edinbourgh

Seconded.

+ if a REAL MADRID team get's into this i can see scenes reminiscent of "human gate" in the worlds hardest creature competition

What about the Real Madrid team that won the European cup for five consecutive seasons between 56-60(including a 7-3 spanking of Eintracht frankfurt)?

Has anyone nominated the Ajax team of 71-73? If not, I will. Three consecutive European cups, created 'total football' and at their heart had Johan Cruyff. That's got to be at lkeast a little bit flair hasn't it?

The democratic and free EU
Ajax 2009/2010 currently have a +83 goal difference and yet are still only second in the table.....there must be some sort of flair factor there surely?

Scoring goals in the Dutch Eredivisie hardly requires flair though does it? Some of the teams down the bottom are about the same calibre as Accrington Stanley.

May I put forward one of the finest exponents of flair ever to grace the Premiership, Sheffield Wednesday 1999 vintage.

Okay, by some of freak of misfortune and injustice, they may have been relegated but what Owls fan cannot look back on this team without a tear in his eye?

A choice of PRESSMAN or SRNICEK in goal - it doesn't get much better than that.
Centre-halves of DES WALKER and EMERSON THOME.
PETTER RUDI, WIM JONK amongst the midfield.
GILLES DE BILDE and ANDY BOOTH up front.

Plus two managers during the season - David Pleat (brown suit, dancing on the pitch at Man City, driving very slowly through the streets of Luton) and Peter Shreeve(s) - the only manager who didn't seem to know what his own name was.

He also had an AFRO.

How about Albion of 2010/11?

Inigo Calderon, some expensive crap flop from Uruguay, GUS running the show and sulky enigmatic Glen Murray leading the line. Have we had a more FLAIR line up?

Chuck in a Slovakian keeper that takes for ever to do everything, being backed up by a chef in the marines. An on loan Austrian striker who scored 4 already, an Egyptian that may win player of the season despite being absolutely shit for many years - add them all to a team who then lost at home to Carlisle who have not won away all season, well since they last beat us at Withdean. Dont forget they have reached the pinnacle, 13th place, yes THIRTEENTH
