2 interesting bits of info from my tour

Just got in from 1pm tour, because of illness we had Richard Hebberd, he mentioned 2 things of interest:

1. We are 9th in the country for season tickets sold.

2. More interesting, due to demand they will add the seats in the North west corner during THIS season.

Really interesting well worth 10 quid.

I wonder if they are doing the NW corner so they will have somewhere to move the South Stand STH's when we have a massive 3rd Round FA Cup draw.

Must say having an extra 1,225 people in the N/W corner will be excellent in the stands, but the N concouse struggles to cope with the fans already there

Not a chance of doing any work in the North West corner during the season, would cause huge disruption and structurally very difficult process, so needs to be completed once the 2012/13 season is completed.

More to the point we still have over 1000 season tickets up for grabs, so despite the outstanding uptake on season tickets to date, I hardly feel the need to bring forward the northern corners is justified at present.

You've got to have ambulance access onto the pitch so I guess one corner will have stay open.

Ooooohhh, the North Stand Atrium Bar, will no longer be errrrrrr an atrium.
New name needed.

The South Stand has no STHs, only the SW Corner. South Stand is Match-by-Match only, so this space would be used for Cup games.

Not a chance of doing any work in the North West corner during the season, would cause huge disruption and structurally very difficult process, so needs to be completed once the 2012/13 season is completed.

This, the stuff was already in place for the ESU and SW/SE Corners this Summer. Bit late to start doing it now anyway as chances are it wouldnt be finished in time.

1901 and the corporate razzmatazz i believe those 500 seats are.

Yes, a small upper tier on south stand for corporates.
