Do you know who Brighton played after you came into this world?

Mine was a 2-0 defeat at the Den on the 12th September 1964,hopefully history won't repeat itself come Saturday

Incidently we'd played up there just 3 days earlier in a League Cup replay, lost that one too:facepalm:

On a good note,we did pip Millwall to win the old division 4 by a point and both Brighton & Millwall remained unbeaten at home all season

Bobby Smith played up front for us and Millwall had Alex Stepney in goal

1st game at the Goldstone was a 1-0 win over Newport County

Mine's easy. Born 11:23 on 6th November 1982, on that very day it was:

Brighton and Hove Albion 1 - 0 Manchester United

I believe my Mum and Dad were both miffed to miss it, Mum especially as she wasn't allowed to watch Match of the Day in the hospital!

Not my 1st game but the 1st of a run of consecutive home games that I attended up to about 1984.
Remember this game well for the battle between Albion's fearsome Alex dawson and Walsall's teenage keeper Phil Parkes, who went on to play for QPR, West Ham, ipswich & England.

On my actual birth day, 7th March 1959, we beat Scunthorpe at the Goldstone 2 - 1 in front of 17795 fans in the Second Division (remember that?). Isn't Google wonderful and were any NSC'ers there???

I was born in the close season, so for me it was the first game of the 1979/80 season: a 0-4 home loss to Arsenal on 18 August 1979.
