Not really good enough is it. Keep this form up and we'll win about 5 in the season.

Gotta say, didn't expect to win today, coventry have injury problems but that is affecting their squad as a whole. Their first team line up is stronger than ours and they are the draw specialists.

I'm a tad concerned, this new attacking shape is showing BIG weaknesses defensively and all this bollocks about performances being more important than results is , errr bollocks.

We need to start picking up points and fast.

but only lost 3
and
should of beat leeds and got a point against sheff utd, so its not to bad.we seem to play better against the stronger teams that is my only worry, because we really need to beat the teams near the bottom.

We were poor today, but we are still somewhere between 17th and 19th place, which is where I think we should be.

Where do you think we should be in the table Dwayne ???

You're looking at the table already LI, how very scientific:rolleyes:
Past performance is no indicator of future performance but if things continue the way they are, at the rate we are picking up points we will not reach 50-53 points and that's all I'm bothered about.

Well, that's way too sweeping. We've played well in patches and poor in patches this season. In some games (Crewe, Leeds) we've got less than what we've deserved, a couple of times (Preston, today) a little more.

McGhee still has a big job of work to do in marrying some superb performances from players like Carole and Jarrett to the most effective system we can put out.

I would like you to answer my question though Dwayne HONESTLY. Were you that soft-headed to believe that it would be any different for us from being on the verge of bottom 6 this season ??? If so, what did you see prior to the season beginning? ???

I refuse to accept the league table as an indicator of how things will pan out for at least another 5 games

All right, that's fair enough, although a bit too close to "results don't matter at this stage of the season" for my liking :lolol:

A win at Burnley and everything will be looking good.

Can't judge what will happen for the rest of the season from the first 9 games. My only worry is our defending, we seem to fall asleep defending free kicks and corners, and are not first to the ball in our own penalty area.

errrr.

The points we gain or lose now affect where we end up at the tail end of the season

Where we are in the league now has no direct bearing on what position we finish at the end of the season.

There's the distinct difference.

Very nuanced Dwayne, I'm impressed :) ;)

Really scotty, but the point is at least we are picking up points at the mo, and playing some very good stuff at times. if we can get our defending sorted out we will be fine. We look very good going forward.
