We are steadily picking up the points. A couple of weeks ago after the defeat at Shrewsbury most people were ready to slit their wrists.

Then we had the win against Plymouth and a point at Leeds and all of a sudden things were good again.

Last year we stayed up because we beat the clubs at the bottom - doubles over Gillingham and Rotherham, 4 points off Forest.

We've beaten Plymouth and I think they will finish below us - we need to make sure we get something out of the Burnley game because I don't think they will find it easy this year.

The 2 points dropped against Crewe may be costly however, because I think they will go down as well.

We need three points at least out of the next two games or we will be in the bottom places. Which one can we win?

I'd counter Dwayne's glass half empty thread title with the half full version:

3 defeats in 9 and two of those were against the leaders and 2nd placed team. We are playing the most entertaining and skilfull football we've played in at least 15 years with a team still bedding in. The subs bench has options that inspire for the 1st time in years and we are playing a style of football that will win games away from home.:clap2: :clap2:

Our expectations seem to have risen dramatically this season because of what MM is doing for this club.

This was the equivalent position last year. We did really well until February. We then lost 6 games in a row and drew the next 3.
We survived as I remember rightly.

So much criticism.
