Since the start of this thread I have moved to New Zealand, got married, had two children, lived in NZ for nearly seventeen years, and come back to live in Brighton.
Any recommendations for pubs in the Brighton town centre that will be showing the Arsenal game tomorrow and allow under 18's (13 and 15 year old in tow)? Ideally that serves food.
Someone has mentioned the Fiddlers Elbow, but I can't see if they serve food or if they allow kids. Will try...
I'm no engineer, but it doesn't look like the type of stadium where you can simply take the roof off an add extra stands at both ends. If anything it would probably need to be "raised" by the same height all around. Surely you couldn't do one or two stands at a time.
Although, I'm guessing...
I don't care who people are, I care what people do.
There is a difference between accepting people for who they are, as long as what they do does not affect others in a negative way, and accepting people for what they do, when it does affect others in a negative way, regardless of who they are.

Agree that he's probably off to...
When I was younger I used to get annoyed when people forgot to turn off their indicator after they had finished making the turn. Casually cruising along a straight road with their left indicator flashing. I used to think how easy it is to just remember to switch it off.
Now at 51, I am...
Didn't he sign as a favour to his mate Liam Brady. I think he'd actually retired from playing a couple of years before and been manager of someone. He came on as sub and was woeful.
I remember seeing Mickey Adams play for us in a Sussex Senior cup game at Sidley. Not sure if he played any more.
I've just invented a time machine and I'm about to head back to 1997 to explain to myself why we're unhappy that we've just beaten AS Roma 1-0 in a major European competition.
