Agree with this comment. Also try and stay calm as there is absolutely no point arguing or getting heated (not suggesting you did by the way) with station staff as they are generally pretty low paid and in my experience don’t know what’s going on a lot of the time.
Always try and have a plan B...
Actually wet wipes are a top tip for cooling down. Put them in the freezer then use when they are frozen! [emoji23]

Given that the met office has issued an Amber Warning for very high temperatures until Sunday. Although I am not sure what the Premier league rules are, but what is the likelyhood of the match on Saturday being postponed? It is likely to be extremely hot at pitch level and in parts of the...
Have an Ernesto stainless steel non stick frying pan from Lidl and I have to say it is probably one of the best frying pans I have ever had. Had it for about 3 years now, its still non sticky with great heat distribution as well and I think it was only £15 to!
Has anyone else noticed that generally when the journalists ask a question they very rarely get a straight answer. For instance at every briefing there seems to be a question on front line staff not getting the correct PPE but the answer is always along the lines of X million pieces of PPE have...

To my mind its not an either or they question they clearly should do both! Lets not forget we seem to be quite happy to spend a fortune on prestige/vanity projects like the Aircraft Carriers for the Royal Navy and a huge amount on replacing our Vanguard Class Submarines. At least H2S will...
Personally I think H2S should go ahead. For one its not about speed its about increasing capacity to. If you want to get people out of their cars you have got to offer alternatives. Secondly you say it will decimate half the countryside now that really is a whopping exaggeration! Again you say...
