    [Albion] Brighton's women's team - what's going on

Thank you for the summary, really appreciated! Not surprised about the stadium, will be very early days and they’ll have cards close to the chest until they’re ready to submit plans I suspect Glad Dario game across well. Do feel for Harris, thought he did well last season and probably earned a...

    [Albion] ST ticket update

I believe in the past I had to make sure I turned off 'Allow Notifications' and then toggle the Auto Update. This is on iOS

    [Albion] New Amex entrance numbering

He loves the escalators to the upper tier at Wembley, bolt on em the side of the Amex. Job done The East Stand Upper does have lifts for disabled access though? Is it above a certain number of steps that it's not allowed?

    [Albion] New Amex entrance numbering

My dad didn't have a heart condition when the Amex opened. He does now. Certainly have to pace the WSU steps a lot more than before

f***’s sake. It’s always been loud enough, but never been clear enough

[Politics] Protests/rioting in lots of places

Now, to be fair, people did attempt to egg the anti-immigration lot and I believe a singular banana skin was thrown. An amount of "damage" the council rectified with one power washer this morning. Only thing actually hurt might be some right wing egos. From what I saw in various videos even the...

[Other Sport] Paris 2024 Olympics & Paralympics ***Official Match Thread***

Macdonald had 8 gold medals at the X Games 6 years before his team mates were born, incredible story. He did have to barely scrape qualification for the Olympics, but he out qualified several younger British hopefuls by a fair bit so clearly he's still got something left.

[Albion] The Mighty Fin, sadly, is not too well

It's lovely that the players were sending him messages

[Football] 0-14: England in big tournament knockout matches vs big teams on foreign soil

Croatia in World Cup, we were ranked 7th and they were ranked 12th. France I annoyingly got correct in my source data and then f***ed up when posting. We were 5th, they were 4th. Italy in Euros final, we were ranked 4th and they were ranked 7th.

[Football] 0-14: England in big tournament knockout matches vs big teams on foreign soil

Under Southgate we've played 13 of 102 games (including all games) against higher ranked teams. We won 2, drew 5, lost 6. Of actual competitive games: 2018 World Cup Group - Lost to Belgium (12 vs 3) 2018 World Cup 3rd Place - Lost to Belgium (12 vs 3) 2018-19 Nations League Group - Drew with...

[Politics] Does it matter where constituency candidates come from?

Did think that, although I imagine knocking on doors is probably lightwork for him

[Politics] Does it matter where constituency candidates come from?

That shows he’s passionate and engaged, particularly impressive at his age and in a no hoper as you say. Deserves to be rewarded in the longer term for sure. I saw he’s a football coach and youth worker, alongside working in retail. Really seems a guy trying to help his community

[Politics] Does it matter where constituency candidates come from?

Caroline Lucas had very few links to Brighton when she stood for Brighton Pavilion (the only one I can see is that she was one of the MEPs for the South East, which faintly counts). However, she's done an excellent job in my view and does care about the area. Sian Berry similarly doesn't have...

    [Travel] Victoria to Brighton train

Always use Thamelink these days. It's cheaper, the trains are longer (they never sneak a 4 carriage service on at peak for example), and London Bridge, Farringdon and St Pancras are all at least as connected as Victoria is for TfL services. Plus the rear most First Class is always declassified...

    [Albion] Albion Women

Awful for Lewes, do really feel for them. I know they were seeking a cash injection with new investors last year that was turned down by their members, so I suppose pausing the girl's pathway makes sense. But still a huge shame.
