By you maybe lesson learnt... we have a great team in Gus Poyet and John Stephenson that actually know what they are doing, and a chairman that backs their decisions. We also have the money to do it without ending up bankrupting outside companies and charities for our lack of funds. We spend...
You've never spent 2 million plus on a player? Wasn't more than three weeks ago you were taking the piss out of us for never spending more than £500k because you so outspent us... make your mind up Pikey.
There is definitely something about Poyet's approach that appeals to players, and I'm sure when he was in discussion with CMS he told him the whole scope about transfer budget, who we are looking for, what we will achieve... so in all reality, anyone we get now would not surprise me.
He was England's best player in the 2006 finals... crocked or not, he has to be worth a punt? £6k a week basic plus pay as you play... surely that would be worth a gamble, and stick him on a contract while we're at it, so if he proves his fitness and some Prem side wants him, we have a payback...
Ok, let me swerve around this! All these sponsor named stadia, including our own, is a bit annoying innit? I know it is a revenue income, but would you prefer a ground to be named without a sponsor name? Like ours could have been Falmer Park or something?
Sorry if this is fixtures but the Walkers Stadium now lies in ruins and has been renamed King Power Stadium... hope we don't get multiple name changes, they aren't the first.
My friends in the SCFA haven't got back to me yet, but should be at the Senior Cup, after that Donny. I just want to be at the first ever game at the Amex, so really want to be at the SSC.
Playing for a little old championship side? Sign him up and see how he copes with his injuries. Give him inducements if he can prove his fitness... definitely good enough for us if fit!
