how old is too old to ask a player for an autograph

Oh dear more memories... Tony Grieg, Imran Khan, Geoff Arnold, Kepler Wessels, that fiery little Pakistani batsman ... name, name... forgotten! Are we the sport equivalent of train spotters?

Kuipers: a Brighton & Hove Albion legend

He was offered a coaching role I believe when Brighton found him in excess to playing needs and he wanted to play on and he is a top guy for making his choice which seems to be the right one. However when he does finally retire I seriously hope he is offered a position or capacity at our club, I...

There's never a GOOD time to be an exile, but........

I'd hand my ticket over to exiles for them to see the revolution... not every week mind!

how old is too old to ask a player for an autograph

I used to hang about outside the entrance to the ... what was it in the west stand? Shop? Ticket booth? not really sure... but I digress, I used to hang about outside there as a 12, 13, 14, 15 year old for when they all came out a few hours after a game, a bit worse for wear but being a kid I...

Season ticket holders: how many matches do you think you will attend this season?

Not polling it but I reckon the thick end of 15 for me, all league, can't get down for cup matches, specially the midweek ones. Hoping to move back to Sussex for the next season, then I'll say 95% of all home matches.

I agree, this thread is now getting laborious and a hive of activity for our squatters. Should be closed to allow them to scuttle back to their sewer.

    6 biggest games after Palace?

If we did it like that then West Ham Millwall Watford no more London teams? Other than the Croydon spanners?

    6 biggest games after Palace?

That's why they register on my top 6 ... Leicester is one I want which no-one seems to agree with... big game for me anyway.

There's never a GOOD time to be an exile, but........

I've already handed my ticket over to someone for the Leeds game as I will be abroad... I also won't be able to do midweek games except Sept 27th which is a must ... and due to work I won't be able to do all Saturdays due to flexi working ... if you guys want to just make a note of who I am I...

There's never a GOOD time to be an exile, but........

I'm sure there will be some kind of 'ticket exchange' when us season ticket holders can't make that are willing to pass them on ... depends on the ticketing system I guess, but I would be more than willing to give my ticket up to a non STH whenever I can't make it.

There's never a GOOD time to be an exile, but........

Bry same thing applies... I don't want to see my seat empty this season when I can't make it.

There's never a GOOD time to be an exile, but........

Feel for you mate, really do. I am an exile and a JCB (Johnny come back) and live in London and have one of those golden tickets, but London is an easy ride down to our new oasis. I won't be able to get to all games this season, and if you are interested and can get there, let me know and I'll...

    Hooray for "King" Kenny

I remember Dalglish first time round at Liverpool, and at Blackburn. he spent an absolute fortune and won titles. He is a very good manager, especially in his own back yard (Liverpool not Celtic) and I would, if I were a betting man, stick a wedge on Liverpool being top four this season. KD is...
