The Watney Cup was the best of all the minor tournaments. Straight knock-out, with home clubs hosting teams 2 divisions higher in the quarter finals. Pulled in big crowds, as I remember.

I'm sure Leicester fans would consider it a point won, so hardly surprising the vote is currently 1:16. But why is 'two points dropped' in italics? Imagine the mayhem if the referendum options had been in different fonts!
I remember an NSCer (possibly Beach Hut) bemoaning his NSC history as it would have destroyed his credibility had he gone into politics. Maybe there is now a way out for him :)
How do you listen?
I've read half of that now, and there's loads of stuff there I think most people wouldn't know about. I never knew that the Brazilian club Corinthians took their name from the famous old English club, who lost 34 players in World War One.
They may well have been only put on bus stops in the Worthing area.
I've only just seen the post above, and the link implies the poem was used by several bus companies. So, I'm afraid dementia may well be setting in, Watford zero :(

'This is the story of Betty Fumble,
Who held up the bus and made folks grumble...'
It's Ryan, Dunk and Duffy once again who have skewed those stats. I was disappointed Knocky went for goal in the dying seconds of injury time. Playing it into the corner should have been a priority over impressing to get back a starting place. In fact, his poor pass could have easily cost us two...
Reminds me of when I got my fingers burnt on NSC for accusing them of exporting 'The Fall' to us!
Mind you, didn't stop me having a go at Bozza today for using 'math' :)
I've always thought it odd that the day ends when lots of people are still up and about. Why weren't the globe's meridians so numbered so that they are, say, 3-4 hours behind what they are now? This wouldn't affect the light levels at which activities take place because 9-5 would become 5-1and...
