Hard to see past Americas A for the whole tournament - LOVE that front 3 with Ali Mac and Caicedo behind them. Really nicely balanced. The only danger is Gus's volatile, overly-principled nature.

Yup. Gavin, Stacey and Smithy are comfortably the least interesting elements of the show.

We're currently 7th having already played against Man City, Liverpool, Newcastle, Man Utd, Villa in the first 11 games - a fairly tough start I'd say. All in all, very happy and with the likes of Enciso, Estupinan, Moder and (hopefully) March still to return, things are looking pretty good atm.

I think you're mildly overrating Moder there. Even non-prime Vicente was capable of moments where he just floated past an entire midfield like they weren't there. Barnes and Undav isn't that special a supporting strikeforce if we're honest - plenty of work rate but a LOT of missed chances also...

For me (Clive), the Spanish side is absolutely chock full of top talent, with not many weak points. The Europe A side's defence is weaker, the midfield is painfully slow - the strikeforce is the only position where Europe is stronger, and even then they don't have anyone the standard of Vicente...

Had considered that. The danger there is that there are plenty of shows that aren't 100% one thing or another - it would lead to more arguments. Sitcoms tend to be the bread and butter of these tournaments.
