[Albion] L'Équipe linking us with Timothy Weah

He played on the right wing for all his appearances at the World Cup. He’s right footed. When I used to watch him play for Celtic he did play on the left quite a bit, but since then he’s mainly played on the right hand side.

[Albion] L'Équipe linking us with Timothy Weah

This season he’s mostly played as a right sided forward, but he’s also played RB twice. No appearances on the left this season yet. Season prior was also mostly on the right wing, and the rest as either a CF or LW. He’s versatile, so would add depth to a number of positions.

[Albion] L'Équipe linking us with Timothy Weah

If we do sign him you can guarantee that the story of his Dad’s ‘cousin’ will be raised every time we play we play Southampton. American Express won’t mind us having an American international to play in our Stateside friendlies.

[Albion] L'Équipe linking us with Timothy Weah

No. Weah plays on the right mainly. It’ll be competition for March,

    [Albion] Nicolás González

Romano says he may be available this window, and Leicester have made an approach. Wonder if we’d make contact or if the club has moved on / has other targets? Stats are good, and wouldn’t be a bad replacement for Trossard.

    [Football] Potter [NOT] at Chelsea

Chelsea about to ruin Joao Felix. 11m loan fee for 6 month deal. They’ve definitely got to be pushing FFP breaches now. Also doesn’t strike me as a Potter type signing - more one that has been pushed on him to try and solve their striker issues.

[Albion] Will Albion break their transfer record this window?

Probably. But they’ve just signed a LCB from Monaco and they’re still in for Gvardiol. Does look like they’ll have an abundance of CB’s in the summer.

[Football] Has Nathan Bitten Off More Than He Can Chew? - Sacked 12/02/2023

The answer is looking more and more like a strong Yes. Fans aren’t happy after another loss. They had 0 shots in target against Forest tonight. Lots of Boos at the final whistle, and lots of chatter on social media saying he’s taken them backwards.

[Albion] Aaron Connolly - joining Hull permanently

Rumour going round that he’s off on loan to Hull this transfer window.

[Albion] There is ZERO chance of SIGNING anyone today.

The club can make a case for special dispensation on the work permit front, as he’s a ‘wonderkid’, the price of the transfer and him being a current youth international.

    [Albion] Transfer window.

Andreas Schjelderup of Nordsjælland would be ideal for us. 18 years old, 10 goals in 17 Superligean appearances. Mainly a left winger, but can play through the centre. Benfica are after him.

    [Albion] Transfer window.

Romano has tweeted that an unnamed premier league club has approached Sassuolo about signing Davide Frattesi. A 23 CM who can play as an AM and is a current Italian international. If we were to loose either Mac or Moises then…

    [Albion] Saints - Pitchside cam

Probably as he came through the Saints youth academy, and was showing respect by not overly celebrating.

    [Albion] Palace away tickets

We don’t get 3k tickets as the ground is just over 25k in capacity. We get 10% allocation instead.

    [Albion] Transfer window.

I’ll add LB also as we need cover for Estupinian. I know we’ve tried Lamptey there recently, but ideally we’d have a promising young player coming through.

[Albion] when will loyalty points for Saints game be added

They were added on earlier today thankfully. Was 2 short of being in top tier earlier. Missed out on Brentford by 2 points, so was fearing a repeat.

[Albion] The Ridiculous Tedious Striker Situation

It’s a loan with an obligation to buy- they have to sign him in the summer window.

[Albion] The Ridiculous Tedious Striker Situation

Cunha has not been that prolific at any club he’s been at. The fee is definitely overinflated. There’s better value options.

[Albion] The Ridiculous Tedious Striker Situation

I’d also add that we know the club has shown serious interest in Nunez and Ramos in the past and were willing to shatter our transfer record (there could even be players we don’t know about). The club would be spend big, but I think the numbers have to make sense and more importantly it’ll...
