Lewis Dunk signs new 5 year contract!

I should imagine that there is a hefty goalkeeping appearance bonus in there somewhere.

    Changing Mobile provider...any advice...

I use ID Mobile that piggybacks on the 3 network, no real issues coverage seems good, get 500 mins, 5000 text and 4GB data (4G) for £10. Its also on a monthly rolling contract so can leave with a months notice at anytime.

The best thing ever bought from the Aldi "mad middle" section...

The tills are small and the staff trained to scan at "warp" speed so that you just put everything back in the trolley and bag on the shelves after the till or at your car.

Season Ticket Match Upgrade - Taking the Mick

Not in this instance, my first phone call went to the ticketing agents and they are unable to perform the upgrades, I was told to call back and take a different option.

Season Ticket Match Upgrade - Taking the Mick

Emailed support services based on the various upgrade discrepancies highlighted in this thread - received the following So there you go, another change buried in the T&Cs, although this doesn't explain the pro-rata upgrade on an earlier post, nor the booking fee differences on another. I...

Season Ticket Match Upgrade - Taking the Mick

As stated in the OP - why the 2 booking fees? I've upgraded on / off since the Amex and the rules seem to be different every time, I'm happy enough to pay the match day cost its just that it wasn't the case last season, I remember it was in previous seasons, not sure why the club can't stick...

    Any coeliacs on NSC?

I think it depends on what age you are - for children we were told to avoid barley for at least a year and then to allow a small amount into the diet once the consultant checks on progress.

    Any coeliacs on NSC?

My children are coeliacs, the transition is pretty easy, like anything it seems daunting as you know little about what you can and can't do. As mentioned earlier the coeliac society app is great if you are unsure then scan the barcode and it will tell you. But in the main we've had to make...

Dale Stephens' appeal [Update: appeal rejected, 3 game ban stands]

Yep - Dunk moment for the red, lost control and dived in to win it, dangerous and out of control.

Amazon prime. Do you use it? We have it and did not realise.

I thinks its good value, what with the delivery and TV/Films. For the delivery aspect it depends on how much stuff you order. But as Amazon sells pretty much everything for less then most other places I find we order quite a lot. I figure the membership pays for itself as I typically...

    Crowd for Middlesbrough

A good working example would be the Derby game if it hadn't finished as a draw Before the game Brighton on 41 points Derby on 37 points Derby win they are on 40 points 1 point behind Brighton win they are on 44 points 7 points ahead Its the swing between winning and losing when teams are...

House prices to rise 50% in next 10 years, London to double...

So its a genius move by Osborne as rent increases mean more tax paid - with the only people being screwed are renters and anyone wanting to buy a house for the first time. Its a shitty vicious circle for first time buyers, can't save because rent is exhorbitant and house price / rent increases...

The Joke That Is The Free Bus Travel Zone

Where is this "free" travel zone? Why did my season ticket increase by £50 in Amex season 2? Oh yeah! that was so I could get "free" travel. Perhaps I should ask for the travel supplement back as it is now "free".

    Park and ride advice

Eh!, has this changed I got the bus from the bus station numerous times last season using my season ticket. EDIT: It seems the bus free travel zone stops at Lewes, I guess the bus drivers weren't very clued up last season

Local firm making 'best headphones in the world' - kickstarter

You're quite right you can get some decent IEMs around the £40-£50 mark, I've had some Sennheiser and Shure IEMs and they sounded great, the problem is that they seem to last 2-3 years and the cable starts to fall apart. My latest pair are starting to fail so I was looking for a new set anyway...

    Season Ticket Question

Good question - I'm not sure. I don't sit in the family stand for a number of reasons, too many kids :-), and upgrading tickets is a pain, the other is when your kids are too old for the family stand if there are no available season tickets then you go onto the waiting list. I suppose that...
