    [Albion] Joao Pedro Brazilian Maestro

I have no idea how he kept his composure. The level of noise was something I’ve never experienced as in you couldn’t hear the person next to you. Plus the scuffed penalty spot. My heart rate according to my watch went right up to 160 and I was only watching.

[Albion] The "Out in Marseille and this may help someone" thread

There’s no access to the away turnstiles without the bus. They start from 2 but there are buses all afternoon.

Also experienced tear gas in the old port. There was a lad dressed in black at the door watching us and another young bloke came and said to us you’ll be fine in here, but they definitely wanted something. Undercover police started lobbing tear-gas to disperse about 40-50 ultras and then it was...

Started as a conversation as he was watching feyenoord and I asked him who scored. Not sure Joel would be happy!

Flying in from Eindhoven and somehow ended talking with Veltman’s dad with @Safe. Said he’s really happy in Brighton and loves de Zerbi. He’ll be in the away end with us. Little bit concerned he flies his family out on RyanAir mind 😂

[Albion] Ajax - ticketing process, tiers and all that jazz

It seems like Ajax was the one that every fan wanted to do. I reckon there will be the allocation plus at least another 1000 if not more. Going to be a special moment in dam square that's for sure.

    As a Dutch speaker... :ROFLMAO:

I know Bart personally. Even if he's a Feyenoord fan, he's captured the situation and emotion perfectly here.

    [Football] Women's World Cup

Yep, wasn't entirely sure what the game plan was at first. Seemed like a lot of hoofball then trying to play it out from the back. The formation switch at half time definitely worked but Dutch realised and adapted. Dutch league has started already so they are sharper which to me showed.

    [Football] Women's World Cup

Seems like there's a bit of a World Cup hangover for the Lionesses. I was at the game last night and they were very poor and rusty and only really got going for about 25 minutes in the second half. I hope Wiegman can turn it round.

Something like that but a bit worse. It's the end of the world.

    [Albion] Ajax - Amsterdam

They absolutely are. Being surrounded by Ajax fans every day can become very tiresome. Don't get me started on their love for Barcelona (who never think of Ajax at all). They're having a bad start this year and you'd think the world had ended, it's EVERYWHERE in the media here.

[Other Sport] Official NFL Thread 2023/2024

Was a harsh one for Williams will didn't look that bad in real time but you knew something bad had happened at that moment. I can't believe we're 0-3. This season is looking bleaker by the week, with Panthers and Chiefs are next two games means we could easily be 0-5.

    [Albion] Ajax - Amsterdam

Ajax no chance I think. Most people have chosen 1 or 2 and Ajax is the number 1 on most people's list. Athens will probably go to MyAlbion+ but we'll see.

Would also say with this most will use Tikkie or a betaalverzoek so payment will not be easy for people on here. I suspect most won't be comfortable with a international payment (which also wouldn't be smart for someone here as Marktplaats is known sometimes for scams).

As a side note, if any of you are able to get out without going on the buses, the queues getting out of the stadium in itself can be huge. Some friends of mine were at the rugby last week and it was chaos supposedly.
