[Albion] Road to Europe - Episode 1 (Into the History Books)

Does anyone know when the stand or fall documentary comes out? Edit: seen it's September now.

[Albion] What do we still need in this transfer window?

For me at least: A very decent left footed CB A RB to either Lamptey's inevitable injuries or in the Pervis mould A LB to cover Pervis A CM to replace Caicedo if he gets sold Kudus So in essence, a few more is needed, especially for depth.

[Albion] Former Albion players on the move

Trialled with a couple of Championship clubs so far. Looks like that’s his next destination.

[Albion] Kaoru Mitoma to Saudi Arabia. I know, I know...

I can see why. Marketing wise the Saudis would capture a huge audience with this and makes sense in a lot of ways. I’m sure Kauru has the sense to turn it down mind.

[Albion] Former Albion players on the move

There's the answer then. I know of several ex-Albion academy players who were offered contracts abroad or elsewhere in the country but instead chose to drop down to Ryman level. A lot also fall out of love with the game when being released and a few hundred quid a month to play for your local...

[Cricket] The Ashes - England v Australia - 4th Test, Old Trafford, July 19-23, 2023

Disappointed by not surprised. England love giving people multiple chances even after poor performance. I suspect had we lost the third test Foakes would have come in.

[Albion] Former Albion players on the move

Absolutely, however a lot of players at non league level play lower than they perhaps could for either 1.) Better money or 2.) It's local and they don't want to move across the country for a 1 year contract.

[Football] New Kits Thread - Season 23/24

I think Plymouth's shirt is my favourite this year. An unbelievable effort from Puma this time round.

No deal been struck between us and Celtic by the looks of things.

[Football] New Kits Thread - Season 23/24

I agree for the most part, although some tend to look like training tops/stock shirts you'd get from Sports Direct without them and for £60, that's not cheap. I do think some of that is because training tops have started to become snazzier too, but still. Love the Lazio shirt though.

[Football] The Non-League Football Thread- 2023/24 Edition

Borough is still a really nice club and I suspect if Town or United were in the NLS he would have invested in them instead. However, Priory Lane is a fantastic setup and has been for years.

[Albion] UEFA clear Albion (and USG) to play in Europa League

I mentioned it here about what happened with the Red Bull clubs. Does not surprise me that the same thing has happened to us.

[Cricket] The Ashes- England v Australia- 3rd Test, Headingley, July 06-10, 2023

The main difference between the sides is Australia have taken almost every catch, whilst we've dropped around 13. That's series defining.

I miss Errea so much. I do like Borough so may just have to cop that away shirt. They've just released this beauty for ADO Den Haag too: Please can we go back??

[Cricket] The Ashes- England v Australia- 3rd Test, Headingley, July 06-10, 2023

Anyone want some exciting less test focused, The Netherlands need 21 off of just under overs to qualify over the Scots for the World Cup. Still 8 overs left but NL have to make it within 44 overs. Edit: NL have qualified with an over to spare! They needed 10.5 an over after 25 overs.
