Am sorry to disappoint. I am recently (and very happily) married.
I work with the person in question that's all.
If it was only talking I've got nothing to bait him with! :lolol:
Surely McGhee's wages would eventually be way more than the compensation we'd pay for Rosenior (who is on rolling contract anyway). Maybe I'm wrong but McGhee would definitely be after decent money. And he'd only sign a short term contract of 12 or 18 months anyway in my opinion.
I don't mind...
McGhee is now the favourite?
Apparently on Sky's Gillette Soccer Saturday they said Rosenior would be announced as our new manager on Monday morning.
We need to get this sorted and quick.
I am definitely going. What kind of message does it give the players if we don't? They may not be playing very well at the moment but are we just going to give up on them? It's not even as if it's a long journey to Peterboro for most of us.
I appreciate that some cannot afford it or may have...
Well said albiongirl. I have faith in DK picking the right man. Hinsh was the only bad one he's picked out of the last four but I'd rather we had good managers who do well for us and move on than shit ones who fail and who no-one wants.
And I'm feeling in a picky mood so I'd remind...
Interesting question (or questions) for you BR.
Do you think (and be honest here) that Coppell would have gone back if Kember had been sacked before the Reading job became vacant? Would he have been offered the job even?
Also do you think he'll ever go back? I know he's a palace legend but...
I've been forced to miss today's game through having to work and in my boredom I found this Sun story on the net. When Francis was ousted at Palace Rosenior was linked with the Selhurst job. He must have turned them down waiting for the bigger club to come along.
:D :D
Here's the story from...
I think you're right Ali. He won't come to us. The only way I think he'd come back to the UK in the next few months is if a second or third division club with money came in for him (Northampton or someone) and matched his ridiculous Korean wages.
It was only ever a mney thing in Korea as Busan...
In Simster's defence you can't see every team more in the country (especialy if they don't play games on television or even in our division). All you can do is go by what their fans say and what you read. By all accounts Rosenior has got Torquay playing some amazing football this season and...
Cureton is having a nightmare in Korea by all accounts. Only scored two goals since he's been there and the fans are really getting on his back. Wouldn't be surprised to see him come back to England. Knight and Cureton to fire us back to Division One?
I found the following comments from Busan...
One ticket available for tomorrow's game. Face value (£20) and it's South Stand Block F.
First person to leave a contact number below gets it. Fairest way I can think of. I'll contact whoever it is straight away.
If you go to www.yahoo.co.uk and look at the 'In the News' section there's a brilliant headline which would have been ok a month ago. But in the current climate this is a little unfortunate:
"Rooney responds to roasting from boss"
:lolol:
According to Ananova Coppell has now completed the signing of Ivar Ingimarsson. They only paid £100,000 up front too.
The only upside of this is that Ingimarsson said he rejected Palace!
Vicente del Bosque anyone?
Last I heard he was in line to take charge of a Russian side but I don't think took the job.
He could get Guti on loan. Might do a job at Peterborough? :lolol:
This time last week I respected Steve Coppell by refusing to continue discussing the Reading job with Madejski because we had a game coming up in 48 hours. He said it would take the players' minds off the game in hand.
Seven days (exactly) later and he is leaving us with 48 hours to prepare for...
I really rate FDM and am desperate for him to return from loan. But this is worrying. He's obviously settled in there and may be looking for something permanent. Maybe I'm just getting worked up over nothing.
(TAKEN FROM ANANOVA):
Hull City's new on-loan goalkeeper Michel Kuipers believes the...
