It’s possible that things that go on behind the scenes are the things that clubs and owners take notice of, that fans know nothing about. 87 points in a very competitive Championship season is not to be sniffed at.

I’d consider myself a big Radiohead fan, but the whole release and ‘pay what you feel is right’ freaked me out for some reason. I didn’t listen to it for years.
We were 15th when the league was suspended and 15th at the end. We’d gone 9 games without a win, but only lost 3, 4 home games without a win. Don’t remember feeling anyone was going to turn on him given the previous season and the progress that had been made.
New university students won't even have their A-level results or have confirmation of a place in July. Even then, they don't move into halls or digs until September. Not sure what the evidence for that would be?
There is no utopia, so ultimately Labour will fail to some degree as too much needs doing.
It’s not just the visible things like pot holes, decaying public buildings, leaking schools and such, it’s been the slow decline and chipping away at our healthcare, education, defence and public...
I’m going to vote for X because they once said something nice about cats, and one time helped an elderly person cross the road, and also opened the local summer school fare, so they’re just the person I want to vote for.
 🤢
Grealish and Maddison in there on reputation rather than form. You can't afford a player that fizzles in and out of games at this level. I'd take Gordon over either of those two.
Completely with you on that. I'm not entirely sure what I am missing, seen him all at sea on many occasions this season, yes he's big, yes he has a bit of pace, but....
I forgot you sunk your own fortune into the club and were looking for a least some resemblance of financial sustainability after a decade of loss making.:lolol:
I’m not saying you should, but just because the club doesn’t listen, or accept the criticism, doesn’t mean it’s operating with a thin skin.
More like a heavy hand maybe, but I see very little to suggest it’s not operating in a very objective, if anything lacking emotion and personality that...
Far from being thin skinned, the club is just being run sensibly, objectively, and to be honest, some of the frustration on here is that there just isn't anything to meaningfully have a proper rant at.
Even PB's press conference just then, very professional, reasonable, honest, pragmatic. 2...
We don't elect the owner, CEO, the board of directors, we don't have any vote or direct say over club policy or the running of the club. Your skin in the game is emotional, not tangible.
Final 15 games of the season Chelsea’s form was only bettered by Man City and Arsenal. Think Poch has done enough to keep his job.
RDZ likely topping a short list for MU, and no way Radcliffe is going to be looking lower leagues for his first managerial appointment.
We’re going to need appoint mediocrity for that not to happen.
We’ve just had a manager walk away because of transfer policy, let alone MU or Chelsea coming knocking.
