I don't think many Brighton licensed drivers are going to sign up with Uber because they take 25% of the cost of the journey, far more than the fixed weekly sum the traditional companies charge. Uber seem to be trying to operate with a handful of London mini cabs in Brighton which is against...
Yes I am, I thought my post made that clear. Green and white cars are Brighton city council colours for hackney taxis, not streamline colours. Next time you go to East st, take a look at the numbers on the side of the cars, they don't all have 202020 on the side. The one's with no numbers are...
I think you are confusing Streamline taxis with the cars on East St. Taxi Ranks in Brighton these days are used by any licensed hackney, most of which on the ranks are independent drivers, not associated with any company - look on the door of the car for the company phone number, it's the only...
There are no exclusively ph companies in this area, they all run a mixed fleet of ph and hackney. This is why the ph cars charge the same. A taxi company can't have half it's cars charging less than the rest.

This is exactly the reason I don't like riding on the road, I end up more stressed than when I started. I was really pleased when that cycle lane was put in by the golf course because it means I can get up to Stanmer and the downs without the risk of getting killed.
My misses the other day...
Wow, that's crazy pressure, on my mtb, I run max 30psi in these conditions. Some guys running tubeless are on as little as 20psi. Even in the summer I run a maximum of 40 psi.
I'm guessing going tubeless isn't an option on a road bike? 2 guys I ride with have gone tubeless on the mountain bikes and have not had a puncture since. I'm going to do the same, apparently you can run a lot less pressure which can be an advantage in these conditions, although not on the road.
I've got some of those cree solarstorm lights. The light unit themselves are very good and very bright, I use them off road in the woods at night and people can't believe I only paid £15 for them. Unfortunately the batteries are not that great, you won't get more than an hour on full power...
