    [Music] Albums 2024

It's an unbelievably heavy yet well put together album. Absolute masterpiece from start to finish. It follows on from perhaps the best two single releases I've ever heard, Deep in the Willow and Everything is Quiet Now. They also have form for albums exploring a theme over the course of...

    [Music] Albums 2024

They're not hardcore punk, they're just hardcore. The guardian writer made a bit of a mistake. They're a band that sort of mixes between genres, mainly being a hardcore band but also metalcore (metal + hardcore) and deathcore (metalcore but with more death metal elements).

    [Music] Albums 2024

For some reason couldn't find this thread last month but an album from this list I want to highlight. Knocked Loose - You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To Unbelievable album, one of my favourite albums of the past few years for both how heavy and well crafted it is. From the opener to the...

    [Music] The Live Music thread

Yeah I did, was an absurdly good concert. This is a must watch for any drummers, absurdly good technical playing whilst not overdoing it. He plays just the right amount for the song.

    [Drinking] Milk

They scale out far better than dairy lmao. Per litre they use less water, less land and have a lower carbon footprint. If you scale it up then it would lower the impact due to reducing inefficiencies due to smaller scale size currently.

    [Drinking] Milk

But coconut milk has been a thing for decades. What about peanut "butter"?

    [Drinking] Milk

Please can you explain this point? In the UK quite a lot of our almond milk comes from European, rain watered almonds. Even looking at a place like California, almond milk uses less water per litre, less land and has a lower carbon footprint. Cows milk uses twice as much water to produce...

Except for the forcibly making the cows constantly pregnant part. And what happens to the calves.

    [News] Hamas/Gaza/Israel

I agree. The "decapitated babies" is technically correct in that a bomb hit and it happened, but the wording tries to suggest that it was intentional to decapitate children.

    [News] Hamas/Gaza/Israel

Some people will be along shortly to say that bringing attention to this atrocity is anti-Semitic as you didn't also condemn Hamas in the post.

[Football] Lucas Paqueta under investigation over potential betting breaches

It's unfortunately more boring than that. His name is Lucas Tolentino Coelho de Lima, but like other Brazilians he goes by a nickname, that being the island he was born on, Paqueta Island

[Music] What's the best song you have heard today? Share it here.

One of the great metalcore bands, Killswitch Engage, Howard Jones has an operatic voice and is one of the greatest metal vocalists of all time IMO.

    [Albion] The table…

Palace finished slightly higher in mid table than us. We played in Europe. I know which season I'd rather have.

    [Other Sport] Fury vs Usyk

Nothing you've said here disproves anything I've said. Controlling a fight is more about boxing IQ than pure physicality. Of course AJ would outbox Wilder, doesn't mean Wilder isn't better physically.

    [Other Sport] Fury vs Usyk

Difference being Wilder is better physically than AJ but a worse boxer. We saw Fury control rounds against Usyk who is a FAR better boxer than either AJ or Wilder. Fury would control the entire fight against AJ imo and his physicality isn't enough to overcome that.
