Couldn’t agree more. Straight from the kick off yesterday, a long ball which went straight out of play handing possession to Spain who then had over 60% possession for the game.
If we play three at the back, as appears likely, then Adam may be getting more game time.
He does look as if he’s lost a bit of weight over the past couple of months.
He has been incredibly lucky with the way our track to the later rounds in the last 4 tournaments has played out. Every time we come across a good team, we get outplayed.
He’s not good enough and we need a change now.
As much as I dislike the guy for the way he dealt with us and the Chelsea...
Reports that the deal to Ipswich fell through as we only offered a loan deal and Ipswich wanted to buy.
Pleased that he’s been retained and so be it, if we loan out for another season. Succession planning for Bart.
Cant see him being allowed to be in the Olympic squad after playing in the Copa Americas, and whilst we have refused Barco to be in the Argentinian squad for the Olympics.
I’m sure that both Arsenal and Man United have shown an interest. However, I expect that they both have other targets too and a specific budget. We may therefore still be in with a shout.
An attacking midfielder and a Right Back still to come? Then some departures such as Moder, Sima, and potentially Lamptey.
Not sure yet re Deniz and fingers crossed that Pascal will stay.
Juanlu Sanchez at Sevilla would be my preferred right wing back but may cost more than we’d be willing to pay after other purchases.
I think an option where we could possibly swap a player would be ideal.
The type of player we’ve needed since Caicedo left. Hopefully we’ll get this one done.
Baleba more of a box to box player. Can you imagine a midfield duo of Wieffer and Baleba? We’d not be bullied off the ball with those two.
