Late 70's boxing day , after the match , on the way back to Hove station , a Palace fan being held in a front garden by a lone Police officer with his truncheon drawn waiting for back up while being surrounded by a mob of home fans is my earliest memory of the rivalry .
There was probably a coach load and a few more of enthusiastic Hashtagers yesterday , however I did notice that there were lots of teenage kids there , helped no doubt by free admission for under 16's for all league games which would have boosted the official attendance . Good to see though...
Worthing had a let off today when Tonbridge Angels usually reliable spot kick taker Lewis Gard sent an 80th minute penalty heavens bound but it was the 200 plus rebels fans that were celebrating at the end a hard earned 3 points .

No doubt that 3g is essential for "non league" sides to prosper now however the down side is that no matter how flipping freezing cold it is the match is almost certain to go ahead :lolol:
