[Misc] Who on here has been to walk past the Queen's coffin?

Nearly 2.30, and you can just walk in at Newhaven now.. if eligible of course.

[Misc] Who on here has been to walk past the Queen's coffin?

I would have done it (I did the Queen Mother's laying-in-state in 2002) but health now not what it was. Instead I did a 90-minute queue for a jab in Newhaven library this lunchtime and managed to get into an argument about the merits of certain shops in Seaford plus the merits of our last PM...

    [Albion] Next Brighton manager

Look what he "achieved" at Notts Forest afterwards, that shut up any criticism of bias.

[Football] Premier League games this weekend - POSTPONED

Hasn't stopped Dave broadcasting back progs from "Mock The Week", but strangely on Thursday night there were no ad breaks in between, the screen just had a saver for the space they took up. Weird. I suspect a lot of old footage from that show regarding Prince Harry's parentage has been wiped...

[Albion] If you were Graham Potter would you have offered Bruno and Roberts a job to come with you

Potter is no fool. Managing a big club with big ego's among the players, most of whom have played at a much higher level than GP did, needs a team of support staff you can trust, basically because you are the reason that they are (presumably) on a much higher pay-scale over 5 years than they...

[Football] Will Potter succeed at Chelsea?

The great survivor, I swore he would be first in the P45 race this season. In fact I didn't think Tuchel or Scotty P would feature to be honest. Yet...

[Politics] Boris Johnson, the new UK Prime Minister

Sadly I can thank Gordon Brown for bus passes and for saving the Scottish referendum result at the last minute (in my opinion). Dunno what I will ever look back on what Boris has done. The buses are crap and cost a fortune; maybe stopping Terminal 3 at Heathrow but that ain't much.

[Politics] Tory meltdown finally arrived [was: incoming]...

What someone was saying on TV last night was that Boris has acted in a "Presidential" style by apeing Trump. Unlike a President who can appoint anyone he likes as official advisors and effectively Ministers, Boris can only pick the Cabinet from MPs and the House of Lords. Trump came from outside...

Yes, sadly he was turned down for parachute payments... After "Running Up That Hill" from the 1980's, the new "retro" song is "GO Now!" from the Moody Blues in 1964...
