It’ll help signal the end for Boris at least, but when politicians switch parties it should automatically trigger a by-election IMO………they were elected on the mandate of the party they were with, so should get their new loyalty validated by getting re-elected
Anyway, PMQs started...
He’s teetering on the edge………one more slight nudge in the back and he’s in more pooh than the lad who hugged Webster last night who’s about to get a CEO email.
Boris Johnson has "categorically" denied he was warned a drinks party in the No 10 garden risked breaking lockdown rules.
"Nobody warned me that it was against the rules," the prime minister said, adding: "I would have remembered that."
Sorry Boris old chap, the fact no-one warned you is...
That was my first thought when this broke - surely one of them must have replied with something along the lines of ‘WTF are you doing ? We can’t do this’
Exactly…exceptionally bright, but narcissistic. Boris knew that too which why he didn’t get rid of him initially until it became impossible not to, now he’s being methodically destroyed by this (I think) carefully planned drip-feed of incidents which has to be an ‘inside job’ to a large extent.
Not overly much to investigate then really……it happened.
We do need to know who broke the kiddie’s swing though. Priti Patel I reckon

On the evening of Friday April 16 2021, Britain was in a period of public mourning. Union flags on Government...
Bit of a Hobson’s choice at the time wasn’t it for anyone undecided………..’vote for the least shit/dangerous/incompetent’.
Interesting that Sunak is keeping his distance from all this, and offered pretty lukewarm comments yesterday without endorsing Johnson.
Doesn't matter what Labour do, Johnson will get knifed by his own party quite soon I reckon. Starmer can keep out of it and let them eat themselves over the next few weeks
It's literally the second article on their online front page under the headline :
'LOCKDOWN BASH Boris & Carrie 'attended "bring your own booze" party at height of lockdown'
DOWNING Street staff were invited to a garden party to 'make the most of the lovely weather' at the height of lockdown, a...
Not even surprised any more……..ironic though that it’s probably going to be a few socially distanced drinks in the garden that’ll finally finish him off rather than all the other incompetence he’s displayed. His own party will push him out sooner rather than later, he’s become too much of a...
