Yeah his best ever form was right wing. Some of us are saying that with options we've got now and potential affects of his injury he could be a really good option at full/wing back.
Not saying Ferdi isn't better. Saying he wasn't a reject and a better team picked him up. You've gone from reject, to not one of their better players. He's played 55 times for Bayern in two seasons, including a load of injuries. He's decent and what Utd can afford, plus well known to Ten Hag.
Enough, yes. Enough proven quality, not so sure. Even O'Riley presents some risk/unknown at this level.
Neither do I. But if we don't get someone else in then I think Moder has a chance of staying.
I don't think he'd come here and is probably too much financially, but goalscoring, hardworking...
He's still under contract at Utd and doesn't have the legs anymore to play as a CM. He's an out and out no.10 now I think. We need a goal scoring box to box player.
Wonder if we still want this to happen after the Gruda deal. I think so as CM looks a bit weak to me still.
Interesting to see how this will develop having missed out on KDH. Do we have someone else lined up if O'Riley doesn't happen? Give Moder or Dahoud another chance?
Highly doubt it...
Given the profit from previous seasons, potentially up to 70 mil out this season and Gross & Lallana wages we definitely can afford it. It's just whether we want to and believe those positions still need strengthening.
Prediction of how the squad will end up. Squad of 25 but with options for it to be bigger because of how many u21's we have. This isn't too dissimilar on what has been posted before.
Keepers (2) - Verbruggen; Steele (Rushworth loan out) - u21 as 3rd choice
Right Back (3) - Hinshelwood...
I get that but also believe he had plenty of games as an out and out winger under Potter. Admittedly under a different system but I'll edge towards De Zerbi getting more out of him.
I think Solly was often one of our best players at wing back. I was never concerned about him defensively except...
If March makes a full recovery but isn't quite as sharp as he was before I think full/wing back would be an excellent option given who we've signed. He can play on either side.
Until De Zerbi found something extra in him I always felt he was more effective from wing back anyway.
There's something in this.
I asked my smart tv remote to bring up Brajan Gruda, YouTube. You know the ones you can speak into.
The result was Pleasure Gouda.
Do people think he's going to Utd? They've just agreed a deal for Mazraoui and need Wan-Bissaka out before that can go ahead. They're almost at one out before one in.
And Wan-Bissaka is off to....West Ham.
Very hopeful on this still.
Short term left cover until Pervis is fit. First choice right wing/back. Option at left wing back with barco if Pervis plays lcb which I think a great option similar to Cucurella.
