    [Albion] Brighton v Roma

Another absolutely brilliant draw. Huge club and a top City,

    [Albion] Ambitious summer Transfer Window.

With our very smart recruitment into the u21 squad and loans out, I expect a number of players to effectively step up next year. I doubt if any other team has this level of depth outside the first team squad.

[Albion] Europa League - Away game tickets.

I Quite fancy flying to Faro for anything Lisbon based. Catch a bit of sun.

    [Football] Trains to Sheffield

Hopefully, someone will pick them up again as I am moving to the Island next year. Assuming I can't buy a season ticket in the away end at Southampton.

    [Football] Trains to Sheffield

Seagulls Travel as far as the Midlands, after that it is just too far for a day now. Rail up North is now just too expensive once we have had kick-off times confirmed, though Sheffield in the Cup went well, and was my first Albion Northern Trip by rail post covid. I understand there may be...

[Albion] Say something nice about Palace

Supporters are not exactly glory hunters.

[Music] Top Bands who never had a hit song

Right now any group featuring Michael Head. Wonderful singer songwriter from Liverpool. Currently performing as Michael Head and the Red Elastic Band. Also Manu Chao has never had a hit in this country, probably because he sings mostly in Spanish and French and does not tour here. Well worth a...

[Albion] Palace or Chelsea - who do you hate more?

To be fair our dear rivals are not exactly glory hunters. I used to have one as a tenant, he was on the police radar so when he didn't turn up at the plod to report on match day the meat wagon was dispatched to bring him in. Amusingly they had my address as landlord and we got raided instead...

[Albion] We won't be qualifying for Europe again this season

We gave up on that with our summer transfer dealings.

    [Albion] Positives from tonight (Luton)

Cheer up. I saw them lose 5-0 there once.

[Misc] What was your first pet's name?

Boo Boo, Dog. I was five and so excited. He ate his own lead, and died in agony after three weeks. Had cats ever since.

[Football] What Was The Worst Albion Performance You Have Ever Seen ?

4-0 loss at Southend (excluding the Bristol Rovers farce.)

[Albion] Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall **Singed for Chelsea 02/07/2024**

A cup one day with a favourable draw, a full team, and the established order drawing each other in earlier rounds. Title not permitted I am afraid, we all saw what happened when we pushed for top 4.

[Albion] Bring back the 80s and 90s please.

Another thought on this was the character grounds back in the day, Saltergate, Gay Meadow, The Dell, Eastville, The Vetch, The Shay (Still with us) to name a few. Every trip was an adventure, especially without segregation. The cookie cutter new builds have no character at all.

[Albion] Bring back the 80s and 90s please.

Certainly was that side. West Ham ambushed us a service station in the 80's I had forgotten that. I remember some supermarkets got raided for the boxes alone leaving heaps of washing powder in the aisles. Those were the days.

[Albion] Bring back the 80s and 90s please.

But there were joys in those days long gone now. The midnight train to Brighton with buffet bar in full flow, bacon butties and Annie Nightingale holding court. 23.00 from Manchester direct to Brighton. Drinking on the bus, The sense of achievement having escaped from Ninian Park in one piece...

[Albion] Bring back the 80s and 90s please.

Those Grimsby fans were something special. I was chased down the road by a local carrying a railway sleeper as a cosh. Yup it slowed him down long enough for me to escape.

    [Albion] Programmes to sell

Not sure there is much demand these days. Mine went to a charity shop.

[News] WW3 anyone know the kick off date and time yet ?

My parents took me for a walk along the beach unexpectedly one evening that month. They told me later they were saying good bye to each other.

    [Politics] Corbyn Party?

Account needs to be taken of a Labour party split, with Momentum going their own way which is a possibility.
