The Daily (Hate) Mail - RIP?

I used to read the Mail on Sunday as a younger man, but that was due to it's coverage of Non League football, and I can complete (as a rule) the You crossword. However, even in my teens, I could see that the paper was a pile of old tosh, and nothing has changed.

    The North Stand...

Munkfish. i feel there are many current factors why the atmosphere may be a little lacking at the moment, in the North stand. Firstly. I feel everyone is still feeling a little wayward since the highs of last season, and the way Poyet left. however, and I can only speak for myself, the general...

Worst Pub in Brighton and Hove.

Likewise. I was there with the Montreal team. A really nice pub.

Worst Pub in Brighton and Hove.

Nibble. Spot on again. I used to hate The Railway over the bridge. That had the same style of bar staff too. Southover and others. That must be The Cobden, on refection. Actually, with the right people in there it's not too bad.

Worst Pub in Brighton and Hove.

That's the one Sergi. I don't use it as a regular, but it is a good honest, quiet boozer.

Worst meal you've had out and about?

I really do not want to say this but The Raj Pavilion on Saturday was pretty rank, and so was my intestines the next day. This unfortunately was not for the first time either, and a couple of us went to give the place another go, but it has failed dismally. A definite shame, as once the place...

Worst Pub in Brighton and Hove.

J.W. Lennons is towards the Spiritualist Church on Eastern Road (possibly) Near to Upper Rock Gardens.

Worst Pub in Brighton and Hove.

Nibble. I think you mean The Crown. A fantastic place for an easy going pint in the afternoon, or after a long day shift. A right little gem of a place.

Worst Pub in Brighton and Hove.

.....Sorry I had forgotten the worst pub by far in Brighton. J.W. Lennons, which used to be The Leconfield. A shit hole before it was made over, and continues to be afterwards. Awful beer. Peanut shells on the floor. No atmosphere, didn't know what the "W" meant, and the landlord was fully up...

Worst Pub in Brighton and Hove.

I must be becoming a bit of a vagabond, as I quite like the Golden Cannon, and The Mitre. The Stadium (Atlas) which closed last month and The Cobblers Thumb which has recently been pulled down, for my money were two of the worst. But due to playing bar billiards, I have to frequent The Branch...
