    [Albion] Albion Women

We should have put that to bed in the first half, Villa were there for the taking before half time. They were the better side from then on Very poor shootout barring Baggaley who did well to save two and was trying to get our takers into it

    [Technology] Ethernet over electrical circuit

Have to agree with everyone else. Cat 6 would be the best option, but WiFi with a decent outdoor antenna will also do you. If your office is on the same circuit as the house then you can use a powerline adaptor, but honestly it's very variable as to quality with those

    [Albion] Melissa Phillips

Everything about this is so weird. I genuinely liked Mel, seemed a good sort. Timing is really odd, but I’m also not sure where the club really expect to be if they keep shifting managers every 5 minutes. And it’s all well and good saying “Oh we support the women’s side with investment”, but...

[Football] What is the point of the coin toss before kick-off?

Tell him to get some ref coins, can get them off Amazon for a couple quid. Much nicer and won't spray coins everywhere!

[Football] Port Vale fan goes after referee when he awards a late penalty to Portsmouth

Jesus, sandwiched by Wagner and Jones. Combined weight of over 450 pounds. Bet the idiot felt that one the next day

    [Albion] Albion Women

On the League Cup draw: Will be tonight (Monday 29th) at 6.30pm on BBC Sports Day which is on BBC News. As for Saturday's game against Chelsea. Thought we did pretty well to keep the first half clean sheet. Chelsea are the best team in the league by a mile, and really showed in second half...

[Football] Jurgen Klopp ….stepping down at end of 23/24 season

It'll very likely be Alonso. Doing well, and his contract extension has a release clause for his old clubs. Unless something very odd happens I don't see it being anyone else

    [Albion] Albion Women

I did double check the BBC's listings and I think it's on BBC News rather than BBC One. Should be 6.30pm.

[Football] Do you still watch MOTD?

I tend to watch MOTD on a Saturday, rarely watch MOTD 2 even if we played on the Sunday

[Albion] What time did you leave?

Left about 5 minutes after the final whistle, then shop, walked to the car, think I was back at Fiveways about 10.30.

    [Albion] Stadium Observations

Where would you put another platform? You can't put it north of the line, there's various buildings there. South of the line there might be barely enough space, but you'd have to entirely redo the footbridge and probably have to take some of the land that Brighton University own. It would also...

    [Albion] Albion Women

Presume it's part of the club's strategy to sign as many goalkeepers as possible. We do seem to be hoarding them

    [Albion] Albion Women

Meant to mention Bremer, she put in a real shift! Seemed to be constantly pressuring to win the ball back in Bristol's half, didn't make anything easy for them

    [Albion] Albion Women

Yeah I noted the way some of the flag were blowing in the east stand, looked absolutely awful. Must be one of the worst covered stands around. Glorified tent, very little protection from the elements and blinding sunshine for some kickoffs.

[Football] Teams that don’t deserve success because of their away kits

Liverpool's third looks like someone dyed an 80s conference centre carpet The Newcastle away kit that's just the Saudi national kit is shit Burnley's away kit just doesn't scream Burnley and they've ended up with the same template as Luton

    [Albion] Albion Women

It wasn’t too bad for wind in the south terrace, but then it got you it was absolutely biting Terland always pulls something out the bag. 9 goals in 11 matches, 3rd place in golden boot race. Hope we don’t lose her because she is exceptional

    [Albion] Training Kit - Pi$$take

The only training kit thing that genuinely annoyed me was the fact the women's pre-season training kit (which was great) took AGES to actually get released, and even then they didn't do any in the men's fit template. Producing stuff just for the women's team is brilliant, but let all fans buy it

[Politics] Important story on the Shoreham disaster today - *update, petition to stop Andy Hill flying*

Given the only substantial punishment I’m aware of was having his piloting privileges revoked, it would (in my opinion) be an absolute disgrace to allow him to fly again. He is free to work or be a hobbyist in any non-aviation field

[Football] The ticking Profit and Sustainability (FFP) timebomb...

In Commons Select Committee, Richard Masters (PL CEO) confirmed that a date has now been set for the City case. Wasn't able to announce the date at this stage, or give an update on the case, but confirmed that the case is proceeding. Assume there are confidentiality clauses and wants to avoid...
