If you supported the League club closest to you..

Let's see. I live in New Zealand, so taking the route heading North West as the crow flies over Australia, South East Asia, India, the Middle East and Europe the first English football league club I would arrive at would surely be Brighton & Hove Albion! No excuses, for not renewing my season...

Vintage footage: 1982/83 Brighton v Everton - beware pitiful defending!

That was a cock-up more than bad defending. Having your centre back positioned BETWEEN their last defender and goalkeeper when they are about to hoof the ball up into your area in the last minute of a game is bad defending!

Ronnie Biggs a true British hero

Here's something that has always puzzled me and wondered if anyone had an answer. For the most part, the usual (how shall I put this) 'sun newspaper' reading community in the UK are very vocal when it comes to how the country should treat criminals. "Lock 'em up and throw away the key" is...

    Swine Flu Question

This is the case in New Zealand. They stopped testing people for swine flu 3 or 4 weeks ago unless they become really ill. It is reckoned that the 2,230 figure quoted could be 10 -20 times that in reality. I had flu a fortnight ago and have no idea if it was swine flu or not!

Falmer construction ... what I want to know is ...

They set out using a dumpy, plumb bobs and string lines! Honestly, you couldn't make up construction language if you tried!

    Police Dogs at Stations

One thing I found quite refreshing when I moved to New Zealand was the fact that the police here seem to treat the general public as their equal and are almost apologetic to people for taking up their time. In return, the general public here are more accepting of the police force and seem to...

Finding somewhere to live in London

I used to live in Canada Water (Not that that's technically a place), but near Greenland dock. Fantastic area. Anywhere around the Rotherhithe area is good I'd say (avoid Surrey Quays though). A pretty peaceful area considering it's in zone 2 and all within a 15-20 minute walk from Canada...

Sink immigrants' boats - Nick Griffin

No binfest needed. I just find it hilarious! About 33 seconds in, you can see it in his eye that he's just realised what he's said!

Sink immigrants' boats - Nick Griffin

Hopefully these comments will lay to rest any concerns that the BNP can be taken seriously as a political party! :lolol: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/politics/8141069.stm
