THE POLICE's reunion tour, which ended in New York on Thursday night (07Aug08), has become the third biggest-grossing concert trek of all time.
The trio's 151 shows grossed over $358 million (GBP179 million), according to Billboard Boxscore.
Only the Rolling Stones' A Bigger Bang outing and U2's Vertigo dates, both between 2005 and 2007, raked in more cash.
The Police began their reunion tour in May, 2007. The trio has shifted more than three million tickets for 146 shows since then.
