[Albion] The timing of the pre-match GOSBTS

During the debate on how shit the national anthem was, I did hear one radio presenting wag say that our national team should come out to this... :) Maybe we should get there first and ditch SBTS.

By “some”, I assume you mean Liverpool fans . After all, who else would be singing it? As for YNWA, I imagine that many people who listen to Elaine Paige might associate it with the West End. Delighted to hear that you’re into being ‘woke’ too.

[Help] Father of the Bride speech ( Hints and pointers please)

Keep it short, sweet and sincere. Remember, nobody is there to see you. Went to one recently and it was excruciating. Tried to be too funny. Went on and on. Had no idea what he was talking about in the end.

And Gary Neville. It’s a good game. They move the ball fast. We could do with moving it a little faster too.

Tetchy. I'm merely asking whether you can remember words to songs. PS YNWA is from Carousel, just as Hey Jude is by The Beatles. I buy the argument that it's more accessible which is why we do it and therefore creates a more inclusive feel at the club. Those words may be a little woke for you.

[Albion] The timing of the pre-match GOSBTS

I think it’s just that they are rather simple to remember and I know you’ve been coming for quite a few years. Altogether now… Now is the time for marching…

Can you remember the words to You’ll Never Walk Alone or the national anthem?

[Albion] What are some positives about being an Albion fan right now?

There’s no queues for beer, we’re allowed bottle tops on our drinks, and the transport infrastructure means everyone is back in Brighton no more than 30 minutes after the game has finished. I love it.

[Albion] The timing of the pre-match GOSBTS

Why do you need the words on a screen? Asking for a friend. Can’t they just be in the programme for newbies?

[Albion] The timing of the pre-match GOSBTS

I think it could work ok, but definitely fade then end. Worried me at first. I was half way through an email to Paul Barber in protest at its omission when it struck up. Be ready for more Neanderthal away fans to be asking “what’s that bit about being gay”. I heard one of our fans having to...

[Politics] Would YOU be happy to pay more income tax so OAPs could keep their fuel payments?

Which OAPs? I would be happier if there was a way of ensuring all OAPs on low incomes took the benefits to which they are entitled and so were then able to take the WFP. So, because the question relates to all OAPs my answer would be No. Rephrase the question to ‘Would I pay more tax so that...

    [Football] Man City PL Charges

I know. But in Soccernomics by Simon Culver and some other bod the data kind of suggests that the coach isn’t that important. I think ‘The Numbers Game’ might suggest something similar.

Let’s all wait and see. Either way, I hope this puts Pep’s genius into perspective. He’s been very successful at very rich clubs. As they point out in the book Soccernomics, it’s the clubs that spend the most on players that are successful. Pep has been lucky all his managerial life.
