Back in Sussex
Anyone spied anything tonight?

"The Northern Lights have been seen across parts of the UK on Thursday night, as forecast by meteorologists.

The lights - also known as aurora borealis - have made an appearance in the night sky over parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland and England, as far as the south coast in Sussex."

I had a red alert for Aurora on my app at 20.30 but there was still too much light from the sunset. By 21.30 it had dropped back to amber.

I was up at 1:00 and there was nothing showing to the naked eye , even a 20 sec exposure showed weak green and purple though that was taken in Woodingdean and of course teh AMEX emits a lot of light which doesn't help. Nowhere near as good as August show.
