Both good pubs, just thought The Criterion might be too much of a trek across town for those going straight from the station to the ground. The Pub is a good shout, on New Walk which is a pedestrianised street, a few minutes walk from the station.
There is a smallish car park there, Granby Halls, but it will be fairly busy. There is parking in the industrial estate near the ground which is busy too, costs about £3 or £4 from memory.
Alternatively there is street parking off Narborough Road, Saffron Lane, Aylestone Road or Victoria Park...
See the other thread but The Hind is right opposite the station and Time Bar is just to the right of the station exit. Not sure about away friendliness but neither are particularly rough so you should be OK in either. There is a Wetherspoons about a five minute walk away, called the Last...
There's the Holiday Inn but my God you must be able to do better than that. As mentioned, the Swan and Rushes is a good pub and even The Hind (opposite the station) or Time Bar (just to the right of the station) would be better than the drab awfulness of the Holiday Inn.
Yes, otherwise known as Lorne sausages, available in the chiller section of your local Lidl. It's a Scottish thing, Corby (where the cafe is) is like a little Scottish enclave after thousands of them came down to the steelworks there. It's a horrible place to play football, last time I played...
You can pay to park in the industrial estate nearby, about £3 or £4 I think but you need to get there fairly early. There is plenty of street parking off Saffron Lane, Aylestone Road and Victoria Park Road if you don't mind a 10 minute walk. I live in Leicester so let me know if you have any...
I agree with what's been said so far, I'd be happy not to seem him until October if it meant he was fully fit rather than rushing him in and then losing him to injury.
So let me get this straight, Naylor says he's signing about now (half an hour ago) then says the club won't announce it until he's actually signed. It can't be both.
When I was (a lot) younger I lived in a house that seemed to be infested with spiders. The bedroom where I slept faced the back garden, which I suppose is why it had the highest concentration of them. Anyway, one night I woke up and felt on crawling ON MY FACE, on my cheek about an inch from...
My flag flew off its pole and into row D when the teams ran out (I was waving it furiously) leaving me with just the stick, so its pretty useless now, unless I want to take my labrador into a shop.
