Junior Junior, you say that like it’s a bad thing !
Fair point. When you live somewhere that’s permanently dark and colder than Cole Palmer’s goal celebration for six months a year a spliff and a wank doesn’t seem such a bad idea.

No wonder the socially normal ones are so into sex.

Who says that I had a good break and connected with the family?
A few hours a day taking training for four days a week is hardly hard work Graham, plenty of time most people would die for to spend with the kids.
Clueless as usual.

You really think that’s all top football managers/coaches do in their job?

They’ll hardly see their kids, especially at weekends and be away travelling loads.

I know man. Someone told you Joao Pedro fell out with the club. Connollys hairdresser told you about his poor lifestyle. The night club owner at some night club told you the same thing. Your Graham Potter-friend told you.

Apparently everyone and their mother are talking Brighton-related stuff with you 24/7, or you are a weird man travelling through the city asking people what this or that 20-year-old is spending their Friday nights doing, or you're just lying. Whichever it is, it is sad.

I live in a city with a similar population as Brighton. This doesn't mean that I know where Malmö FF players eat their kebab, get their hair cuts or if they drink four beers rather than three, because I'm not bizarre/sad/pathetic like that. In a lot of other ways I am, but not like that. You're 40 or something and should either cut out the compulsive paparazzi-wannabe-shit or the compulsive lying. Just a thought.
just when I think ’ Han Solo, he’s just about tolerable’ you come up with bollocks like this. You do realise that this makes you sound like a sanctimonious prick rather than some ‘cool, weed smoking guru‘. It’s like Catweazel* giving fashion tips to Armani.
* look it up on YouTube .

I wondered that. I’ve talked with, spent time with and even argued with my family, but never “connected” with them. I’m not on LinkedIn talking to them.

I wish he would make his mind up. I've still got £12 @ 2/1 for him to be next permanent manager of England.

A genuine question, other than @Han Solo, would anyone here take Potter back as our head coach at some stage?

I've realised that my annoyance with the bloke lasted exactly 2 years :lolol: .

I don't think he's a coaching/man-management deity, still a work in progress.

No as he wasn’t actually that good (3 home wins in 3 different calendar years and all that)

How many times did he say ‘my journey from the fourth tier of the Swedish Leagues to the last 8 of the Champions League’?
He must have collaborated with his agent for minutes on that ‘sound bite’ to sum up his career/ cv executive summary.
Nice jumper Graham!

People keep repeating various random loosely interpreted quotes from years back, because they really don't have a lot of ammunition in their desire to portray Graham Potter as some sort of money- and fame seeking demon.

Well I thought everything was going well at Brighton at the beginning of 22/23 - we’d beaten Man U, WHU, Leeds, Leicester and drawn at Newcastle - if I remember rightly, before games were suspended when HRH, QE2 died, and GP left, we were 4th in the League.

The fans were happy, the Club was happy so what was wrong?

If Potter didn’t go to Chelsea because he was seeking the mega wages and fame of managing a high profile big 6 club like Chelsea, then why the fcuk did he leave?

No it doesn't. People keep repeating various random loosely interpreted quotes from years back, because they really don't have a lot of ammunition in their desire to portray Graham Potter as some sort of money- and fame seeking demon.

Southampton is a good, generally well-run club and Potter knows it. While he might be looking for a less relegation bound club, it's just not realistic or anywhere in character to think he'd say what @Commander is pretending.
Southampton are not a well run club.
