BUT....22/34, 186yds, and 0 TDs.

All it suggests to me is that he dinked and dunked his way down the field....a backup could do that job just as well. Hardly $230m worth so far in the first 2 weeks.
Oh agreed. It's just that I want him to be complete shit every week, but the Browns to magically keep winning despite having an underperforming QB. (Although as you point out those stats aren't earth-shattering).

For me the cowboys getting dicked was the surprise package in a weekend of some strange results.

can someone in the know from the US tell me why the eagles play so many games on Monday and Tuesdays! They always appear to be playing catch-up.

after this weekends results, I fully expect the falcons to push us on tuesday

Horrible game between the Steelers and the Broncos - loads of penalties and very scrappy.

Feeling sorry for Bo Nix as he stats look bad but yet again, simple catches dropped by his team mates which would help ease the pressure and move the team upfield.

Great story on the BBC roundup today from the Packers game:

It was not all fun and games for stand-in QB Malik Willis though, especially on one particular play thanks to his centre Josh Myers, as coach Matt LaFleur explained: "I asked Malik why he didn't throw it on that third down and he told me Josh threw up on the ball. That's the first time I ever heard that."

Really trying to follow the NFL this year. I work in the States, so naturally meet a lot of football fans. I've adopted the Steelers as my team due to a colleague I worked with a few years ago.

One current colleague is an Eagles fan, he is clearly disappointed with tonight.

Not surprised.

To lose from where they were was just shocking.

You’re already 3 points up, you’ve got possession inside the 10 yard line, there are under two minutes left in the game, you’ve got all your timeouts left and your opponents have none - no way should that become a loss.

But fair play to Cousins and the Falcons, they made that final drive look like a training drill.

Who is your team?

The better teams (or those with a sellable personality - see Jets) always get selected for the late or Monday games, due to TV audience figures.

That is why I’m confident being a Giants fan that well rarely be on!

Well you can f*** RIGHT off! :lolol:

The only reason I'm a Cleveland fan is because a dear friend and former business partner of mine was a Steelers fan. He supported them because he once met Terry Bradshaw (famous Steelers QB) on holiday in the USA in about 1977 or 78. This was before the game was broadcast in the UK and he was the only British person I ever met (we met in 1979) who was genuinely interested in the NFL prior to Channel 4 starting their coverage in 1982.

When that started and everyone started getting into it I asked him who he thought Pittsburgh's rivals were and I'd support them so we could have a bit of banter in the office; your team, my team, etc. He thought for a second and said "Probably Cleveland."
"Right," I said "I'm a Cleveland fan then!" :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

Cue 40+ years of misery. Why couldn't he have met Dan Marino?

Falcons fan with a weird feeling. I think it's called optimism. Strong defensively both weeks. Clicked a bit better this week with Cousins and you would hope he's only going to get sharper.
