No need to apologise. As has been stated, the still frame is a little misleading but I remain of the view that he should have shot to the near/first post.

Couple of things I’ve noticed about him;
He has bulked up quite a bit and looks stronger.
He’s a player that seems to glide around the pitch.
Needs to keep working hard and he’ll likely be a star for the future.

His pass to Adringa for the Utd winner was Lallana like = incisive and positive, if he takes a touch then we don't score that goal IMO. I can see why FH likes him.

Gross missed a SUPERB chance at Arsenal last season, on about 84 minutes, that would have made that game 1-1.

On his way to Azerbaijan for sure, but not for an U-21s game. Despite what the official Albion site says, he was called up for the senior national squad, not the young'uns.

I don't recognise their back five, but the front six look pretty tasty. I can think of at least two posters who will be able to provide more in-depth feedback.

Honestly, he gives me Frank Lampard vibes. His late runs into the box are superb, and something I rarely saw from Gilmore. I don't think he's good enough to be around the first team squad just yet, but he strikes me as a VERY hard worker. I think he has a huge ceiling, and I hope it's with us because he appears hugely likeable.
The goalie is Viktor Johansson, currently playing for Stoke. The rest of the defenders are ok, Hien plays for Atalanta, two plays in Poland, Augustinsson (once rumoured to Brighton) in Belgium. Its a random lot that you're not expected to know about
The front six is indeed tasy. Sweden didn't have a good central midfielder for about ten years but now there's a few coming through, Ayari being one of them - and he was certainly among the best yesterday and took a massive step toward being a starter in tougher games.
The four attacking players (and some very decent bench options) are perhaps the most talented front four we've ever had... but they force the rest of the team to play a football they aren't really good enough to master. The Azerbaijanis could have scored three more goals yesterday.
I definitely think he is first team squad ready. Not a nailed on starter, but will always make a contribution. Loving how he is developing.

It's all very, very encouraging. He has made great strides since the end of last season, and has resulted in a place in the squad ahead of the likes of Sarmiento and Buonanotte.
Fab evidently saw the progress he has made, and acted upon it.

It's a minor thing but still relevant, that in his handful of games he's looked 10x more likely (and come closer with the marginally disallowed strike and the Arsenal one discussed above) to score than Gilmore did in a far greater period. Overall play matters more than goals but everything is looking positive and like it will continue to improve with more minutes on the pitch.

Gyökeres is probably the only major example of Brighton dropping the ball.And two assists and a goal for that Gyökeres geezer. We should keep an eye on him

Probably didn't expect him to become this good after his double loan at Swansea and Coventry only yielded 4 goals from 31 games.

He never looked especially promising whenever he was given first-team minutes. Nothing like as impressive as Ferguson.
I always thought he had talent. But it took him awhile to find himself. Coventry was the making of him.
